Did you know that more than 2.3 million drivers and passengers were treated in emergency departments as the results of being injured in motor vehicle crashes in the past year?  Young adults 18-24 have the highest crash-related injury rates of all adults.  The lifetime costs of crash-related injuries among drivers were $70 billion in the past year.  Seat belt use reduces serious crash-related injuries and deaths by 50%.   In the past year in Nebraska of those using seat belts, 48,700 who were in vehicle crashes were not injured, 11,511 were injured and 51 were killed.  Of those not wearing seat belts, . . . read more

Jr. High Boys Basketball

The 8th Grade boy's season is off to a good start.  The boys lost to Bancroft-Rosalie, but won the Dodge Tournament by beating Clarkson/Leigh and then St. Francis.  The remaining schedule is below.  Please remember that this can change at anytime.   The game in Clarkson on the 23rd will have a time change, but we haven't found out yet if it will be moved up to 4 or 4:30.
