- Wendy's High School Heisman - This scholarship is honors both male and female high school students who excel in academics, athletics, and student leadership. Eligibility for application is limited exclusively to men and women entering their senior year of high school in the 2008-2009 academic year who have at least a "B" grade average and participate in at least one school sponsored sport. Applications are available online at www.wendysheisman.com. The deadline for applying is Wednesday, October 1, 2008.
- Horatio Alger Association - Eligibility criteria to be considered for this scholarship are: currently a resident of and attending a high school in the State of Nebraska, enrolled as a full time student and progressing toward graduation with plans to enter college in the fall of 2009, intend to pursue a bachelor's degree at an accredited four-year institution (students may start their studies at a two-year institution), critical financial need ($50,000.00 or less adjusted gross income per family is preferred, involvement in community and co-curricular activities, a minimum grade point average of 2.0 and be a citizen of the United States. Application is available online at www.horatioalger.org/scholarships. The deadline for applying is Thursday, October 30, 2008.
- Access College Early Scholarship Program - This scholarship will pay the tuition and mandatory fee costs of a high school student who wishes to take dual enrollment or early admit class at a Nebraska college or university. To qualify, a high school student, or that student's parent (s)/guardian(s), would have had to experience an extreme hardship (i.e. fire, loss of job, accident, etc.), or currently be eligible for one of the following federal benefit programs: food stamps, free or reduced price lunches, supplemental security income, special supplemental nutrition program or temporary assistance for needy families. Students need to complete an application and provide documentation that they do meet at least one of the eligibility criteria, that they are enrolled in the college course, and the tuition and mandatory fees the college or university is charging the student for that course.
- Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation - Applications for this scholarship are found online at www.coca-colascholars.org click on: Coca-Cola Four Year Award for Seniors. The deadline for applying is Friday, October 31, 2008.
- Prudential Spirit of Community Award - This award/scholarship recognizes those students who have distinguished themselves through volunteer work. Applications are available online at www.prudential.com/spirit or www.principals.org/prudential (access key: spirit). Application deadline is Friday, November 7, 2008.
- Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management - This is the former J.D. Edwards Honors Program in Computer Science and Management. This is a very selective academic program which provides an education balanced in computer science and management while developing professional skills in leadership, communication and collaboration. The Raikes School pays the cost of a student's room and board. The deadline for applying is Monday, November 24, 2008. Students must complete a University of Nebraska-Lincoln application online (www.admissions.unl.edu) before applying to the Raikes School.
- Nebraska Wesleyan University's Academic - Wesleyan has the following academic scholarships available: Board of Governors, Wesleyan Scholar, Fredstrom, President's and the Recognition. An additional one is the Founders plus the Diversity, Talent and Nebraska United Methodist. Most of these scholarships have a required ACT score and a GPA minimum. ACT scores will be taken only from the ACT taken through December of the student senior year.
- Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP) - Chadron State College and the University of Nebraska Medical Center is offering this cooperative program. This program is offered to encourage students to enter certain medical fields and return to rural Nebraska. Applications are available online at http://www.csc.rdu/sci/healthprofessions The deadline for being considered for this scholarship is Monday, December 1, 2008.
- Wayne State College's Academic Excellence - Wayne State College makes this scholarship available to high school students as a reward to those that have excelled academically and who are seeking a rigorous academic experience in a personalized setting for their college experience. This scholarship is a full-tuition award and is renewable for up to 128 hours of study. The student must maintain a 3.3 overall GPA at Wayne State College to renew each year. The deadline for being considered for this scholarship is Monday, December 1, 2008.
- Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP) - Wayne State College and the University of Nebraska Medical Center is offering this cooperative program. This program is offered to encourage students to enter certain medical fields and return to rural Nebraska. Applications are available online at http://www.wsc.edu/schools/nss/rhop The deadline for applying is Monday, December 1, 2008.
- 2009-10 Governor's Opportunity Award - Applicant must have an ACT score between 21 - 24, enroll as a full-time college student at Chadron, Peru or Wayne. Applications are available in the guidance office. Application deadline is Monday, December 1, 2009.
- Omaha World Herald/Kearney Hub - This scholarship is available at UN-K for students that have a 28 ACT minimum composite and rank in the top 10% of their senior class. This scholarship provides for full tuition plus payment for room, meals, fees and books. The completed application forms must be postmarked by Monday, December 1, 2008.
- Principal's Leadership Award - This scholarship recognizes outstanding leaders. All information, instructions and criteria can be downloaded from www.principals.org/PLA The deadline for applying is December 5, 2008.
- AXA Achievement - This scholarship is open to seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or workplace. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents, current high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the fall of 2009, demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in an activity in school, the community or the workplace and be recommended by an unrelated adult who can attest to the student's achievement. - Peter Kiewit Foundation's Legacy Scholarship Program - Applicant must be ranked in the top 20% of their high school class following their junior year and through the fall term of their senior year plus demonstrate financial need. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Wednesday, January 7, 2009.
- Elks' Legacy Awards Scholarship - Any child or grandchild (step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2006 or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2006, is eligible to apply. Applications are available from the Elks website, www.elks.org/enf/scholars The applications must be postmarked no later than Friday, January 9, 2009.

- Elks National Foundation 2009 Most Valuable Student - Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Friday, Janaury 9, 2009.
- Elks' Vocational Scholarship Grant - This scholarship is open to high school seniors who plan to attend a Trade School, Technical School or Community College. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Monday, January 12, 2009.
- Nebraska Educational Office Professionals Association (NEOPA) Student - This scholarship is for high school seniors who may be considering entering an office related profession. More information & applications may be found at http://neopa.unl.edu The deadline for this scholarship is Thursday, January 15, 2009.
- Board of Trustees' - This scholarship is available to students planning on attending Chadron, Peru or Wayne and have a 25 or higher on the ACT. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline is Thursday, January 15, 2009.
- Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association - Students planning to become teachers or other related occupations, such as counselors or media specialists may apply for this scholarship. Each member school is allowed one female and one male application. Application are available at www.nrcsa.net The deadline for applying is Friday, January 23, 2009.
- Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association's Gary Fisher Fine Arts - Students who excel in fine arts and are planning to major in fine arts in college should apply. Each member school is allowed one application. Application are available at www.nrcsa.net The deadline for applying is Friday, January 23, 2009.
- Norma Ross Walter - This scholarship is open to female graduates of Nebraska high schools who are or will be planning to enroll as English majors at accredited colleges of universities. (Journalism is NOT included) Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Saturday, January 31, 2009.
- Northeast Community College's Scholarships - Northeast Community College Scholarship application can be accessed on-line at www.northeast.edu From the "Quick Link" menu, select "Financial Aid/Schholarships." Select the "On-line Scholarship Application" link on the left-hand side of the screen, and follow the directions. That single application will be used to consider students for all NECC scholarships except those that indicate a separate application is required. The deadline for applying is Monday, February 2, 2009.
- Nebraska Society of Professional Engineers - To be eligible for an NSPE scholarship, applicants must plan to attend a four year engineering program that is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET-EAC). Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for applying is Monday, February 2, 2009.
- Central Community College's Early Advantage Scholarship - Prospective students must have submitted their ACT scores to CCC. Scholarship applications will be sent directly to the student's home address. Student's ACT composite scores must be 21 or above with a minimum GPA of 2.5. The deadline for applying is Monday, February 2, 2009.
- KFC Colonel's Scholars - Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 or higher and going to pursue a bachelor's degree. Students may complete the application online at www.kfcscholars.org Applications are available from December 1, 2008 through February 10, 2009.
- NMC Diesel Technology Sponsorship & Caterpillar Scholarship - These two scholarships are for students who wish to become heavy construction and agricultural diesel technicians. To qualify for one of these scholarships the applicant must visit CCC Hastings Campus, complete an application and be accepted to CCC, complete an application for the NMC Sponsorship and take or have taken the school provided COMPASS, ASSET or the ACT test. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Friday, February 13, 2009.

- Monsanto's 2009 Commitment to Agriculture - This scholarship is open to high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in an agriculture-related field. Applications are available online after December 1, 2008 at www.monsanto.com or www.ffa.org The deadline for applying is Tuesday, February 17, 2009.
- Platte Valley Cattleman Scholarship - Applicants must reside in Platte, Butler, Colfax, or Polk counties and be pursuing a course of study in agriculture. Applications are available in the guidance office. Application deadline is Wednesday, February 18, 2009.
- Northeast Community College's Admissions Academic Scholarship - Students planning on attending Northeast CC who have an ACT composite score of 24 or above and a high school GPA of 3.75 may compete for one of the two $300.00 scholarships being offered. Deadline for applying is Monday, February 23, 2009. Applications are available in the guidance office.
- Nebraska Truck Center, Inc. Diesel Technology Sponsorship - This opportunity is open to students who wish to become medium, and heavy duty truck and diesel technicians. Applicants MUST attend Central Community College in Hastings. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Friday, February 27, 2009.
- U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship - This scholarship is open to all students. There are no essays to write and no minimum GPA required. Students will be selected through a random drawing process. Students may apply online at usbank.com/studentbanking The deadline for applying is February 28, 2009.
- 2009 Burger King Scholars - This scholarship is open to students that have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, work part-time an average of 15 hours per week of 40 weeks per year, actively involved in community service activities and demonstrate financial need. - Nebraska Roping Horse Association's Ray Warren/Tom Forst Memorial -Students in the upper 1/4 of their graduating class and have a minimum of 26 on the ACT are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. The applicant must be planning on being a full time student at a college of university for the fall of 2009. In addition to completing the application an essay of 750 - 1,500 words telling about the student's past and present involvement, and/or interest in agriculture, ranching, general livestock, 4-H, or related field. The student should describe his/her plans and goals for the future, how college will help him/her achieve those goals and how they relate to the above. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline to apply is Saturday, February 28, 2009.
- The Nebraska Academy of Sciences - This scholarship requires an application summary as well as supporting information in the form of essays, transcripts, testimonial letters from 2-3 supervisors or teachers and a list of activities and/or related accomplishments. - American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students - Applicant must be a member of The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion and shall have paid dues for the two preceding years and for year and for the calendar year in which application is made, must be non-traditional student returning to the classroom or a non-traditional student who is just beginning his/her education, Spirit of Youth Scholarship recipients are not eligible. Applications are available in the guidance office. The application, which is submitted to the local Unit, deadline is Sunday, March 1, 2009.
- American Legion Auxiliary Spirit of Youth Scholarship For Junior Members - Applicant shall be/shall have been a Junior members of The American Legion Auxiliary; said member to have held Junior membership in the American Legion Auxiliary for at least three years and must hold a membership card for the current (2009) year. Applicant must continue her membership in the American Legion Auxiliary during the four-year-scholarship period. Applicant must have a 3.0 GPA using a 4.0 base. - American Legion Auxiliary National President's Scholarship - Applicant must be a direct descendants, step-children or step-grandchildren of U.S. wartime veterans who served during one or more periods of war (see application for exact dates). Applications are available in the guidance office. The application, which is submitted to the local Unit, deadline is Sunday, March 1, 2009.
- 2009 Maynard Jensen American Legion Memorial - Applicants must be sons or daughters, grandchhildren or great-grandchildren, adopted or stepchildren of members of Department of Nebraska, The American Legion or POW, MIA, KIA, or any veteran that was a current American Legion member at time of death. Selection of recipients will be made on the basis of academica achievement, extracurricular activities, financial need, and the completion of all information requested in the application. - Ag Cooperative Safety Directors of Nebraska Scholarship - Applicants must be Nebraska residents, have a GPA of 3.00, be an incoming freshman, second semester freshman or sophomore enrolled in an agriculture program. The deadline for applying is Sunday, March 1, 2009. Applications are available in the guidance office.
- Central Community College's general scholarships - Students planning on attending Central Community College and wanting to apply for scholarships need to go online at www.cccneb.edu/financialaid for an application. The deadline for applying is Sunday, March 1, 2009.
- Chet Linder Memorial Scholarshp - There will be three $750.00 scholarships and at least one will be awarded to an applicant intending to attend a Nebraska accredited college or university. Selection will be based on scholarship application, participation and leadership in school, community activities and educational goals. There is no criteria relative to gender or financial need. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for applying is Sunday, March 1, 2009.

- Central Community College's Ken Morrison Health Occupations Scholarship - Students entering dental assisting, dental hygiene, medical laboratory technology, medical assisting or nursing are eligible. Applications are available online at www.cccneb.edu Application deadline is Monday, March 2, 2009.
- Nebraska Press Association Foundation - Applicants will be students that are enrolled or planning to enroll in post-secondary educational programs in Nebraska-based colleges and universities leading to careers in print journalism. Preference in awarding the scholarships will be given to students with a specific interest in news, editorial, photography, circulation, production, or advertising careers on weekly, semi-weekly, or daily newspapers. - St. Francis Memorial Hospital Foundation - Students who plan to pursue a career in a health related area are eligible to apply. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 6, 2009.
- Eugene L. Sucha, M.D. Memorial - Scolarships will be awarded to students demonstrating high academic achievement, community service, leadership religious participation and demonstration of high personal character. - Better Business Bureau (BBB) - This scholarship honors honor and commitment to honest, integrity and accountability. - SAMMY 2009 (Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year) - Students may nominate themselves for this scholarship. Judging will be based on academic performance (35%), athletic excellence (35%), leadership (15%), community service (10%) and milk experience (5%). Application deadline is Friday, March 6, 2009. - Salvation Army's 2009 D.J.'s Hero - This scholarship applicant should be someone who may not be the top student, but one who quietly carries out good deeds and has the respect of their peers. A person who would give 100% when no one is looking. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Friday, March 6, 2009.
- Scott Mecham Student of Integrity Award Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded according to a student who is recognized because of his/her integrity. The scholarship will be awarded to students who exemplify ethical behavior and personal integrity and who demonstrates humility, courage,compassion, and respect for their peers, teachers and community. - OACCWs Omaha Council of Catholic Women Senior Scholarship - This scholarship is for high school senior Catholic women. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Thursday, March 12, 2009.
- American Legion Auxiliary's Ruby Paul Campaign Fund -This scholarship will be awarded to a daughter, son, granddaughter, grandson, great-granddaughter or great-grandson of an American Legion or American Legion Auxiliary member who has held Nebraska membership for two years or an American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion member who has held Nebraska membership for two years. Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or university for the current year and be a Nebraska resident for the previous three years. The Applicant must be a high school senior or graduate of an accredited high school and have maintained a "B" or better average the last two semesters of high school. Applications are available in the guidance office. The application, which is submitted to the local Unit, deadline is Sunday, March 13, 2009.
- American Legion Auxiliary's Roberta Marie Stretch Memorial - This scholarship will be awarded to a qualified applicant enrolled or accepted into an undergraduate or graduate (masters only) program at a four year college or university. Applicant must be veteran connected and a resident of Nebraska. Preference will be given to former Nebraska Girls State Citizens. Applications are available in the guidance office. The application, which is submitted to the local Unit, deadline is Sunday, March 13, 2009.
- American Legion Auxiliary's Ruby Lorraine Paul Scholarship Fund - This scholarship will be awarded to a daughter, son granddaughter, grandson, great-granddaughter or great-grandson of an American Legion or American Legion Auxiliary member who has held Nebraska membership for two years or an American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion member who has held Nebraska membership for two years. Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or university for the current year and be a Nebraska resident for the previous three years. Applicant must be a high school senior or a graduate of an accredited high school and have maintained a "B" or better average the last two semesters of high school. - American Legion Auxiliary's Student Aid Grant or Vocational Technical - This scholarship will be payable in two halves. Each recipient is required to send one letter per quarter with quarter grades to the American Legion Headquarters in Lincoln, NE. Applicant must be a veteran or veteran connected and a resident of Nebraska. Applications are available in the guidance office. The application, which is submitted to the local Unit, deadline is Sunday, March 13, 2009.
- American Legion Auxiliary's Graduate Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to a qualified applicant who is interested in teaching special education students. Applicants must be veteran connected and hold a Bachelor's degree. Applications are available in the guidance office. The application, which is submitted to the local Unit, deadline is Sunday, March 13, 2009.
- American Legion Auxiliary's Licensed Practical Nursing - Applicant must be veteran connected and a resident of Nebraska at least three years immediately prior to application date. Applications are available in the guidance office. The application, which is submitted to the local Unit, deadline is Sunday, March 13, 2009.
- American Legion Auxiliary's Nurse's Gift Tuition - Applicant must be veteran connected. Applications are available in the guidance office. The application, which is submitted to the local Unit, deadline is Sunday, March 13, 2009.
- American Legion Auxiliary's Averyl Elaine Keriakedes Memorial - This scholarship will be awarded, preferably, to a female enrolled at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln who plans to teach middle school or junior high school social studies. Applications are available in the guidance office. The application, which is submitted to the local Unit, deadline is Sunday, March 13, 2009.
- Columbus Area Human Resource Association - Applicant must be employed or have a family member who is employed with a company that is a member of the Columbus Area Human Resource Association. Students must be majoring in business or human resources. Applications are due by Saturday, March 14, 2009. Applications are available in the guidance office.
- Nebraska Aviation Trades Association - The 2009 NATA scholarships are available to any Nebraska high school senior. The application deadline is March 15, 2009. Applications are available in the guidance office. There is an essay the students must write for this scholarship.
- Robert C. Byrd Honors - This federally funded program provides an opportunity for Nebraska high school senioirs with outstanding academic achievement. Approximately 40 new schholarships are awarded each year. Prospective applicants can access the application packet online at www.nde.state.ne.us/byrd Students are encouraged to use the interactive capabilities as this method offers convenience for the applicant as well as improved legibility during the review process. The deadline for applying is Sunday, March 15, 2009.
- Gus Swanson Memorial Communications - This scholarship is available for students who plan to enroll in a Nebraska college or university, have a 3.25 GPA and pursue a degree in one of the following fields: Advertising, Marketing, Mass Communications, Communications Studies, Public Relations, Journalism and Graphic Design/Desktop Publishing. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Sunday, March 15, 2009.
- Nebraska Association of County Extension Boards Scholarship - This scholarship is available to incoming students (freshmen or transfer students) at UN-L's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources or in the College of Education and Human Sciences. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Sunday, March 15, 2009.
- Nebraska Crop Improvement Association Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to a student attending the University of Nebraska in agronomy. Applications area available on line at http://www.agronomy.unl.edu/newcurrent/scholarships.html The deadline for applying is Wednesday, March 18, 2009.
- UN-K's Opportunity Fund - The applicant must be a graduate from a Class "C" or "D" high school, be admitted to UN-K, not receiving any merit academic scholarship from UN-K, and must need financial assistance to attend UN-K. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Friday, March 27, 2009.
- Catholic Order of Foresters Court 1737 - This scholarship is open to all high school seniors in Dodge and Howells. Applications were given to all seniors and are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Sunday, March 30, 2009.
- Columbus United Federal Credit Union Scholarship - Applicants must be a member with a primary account in good standing with Columbus United Federal Credit Union. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Tuesday, March 31, 2009.
- Nebraska Legal Professionals Association - This scholarship is open to students who wish to further their education in law of the legal support field. The applicant must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applications are available in the guidance office. The application deadline is Tuesday, March 31, 2009.
- Jami Harper Nebraska Children's Groundwater Festival - The main focus of this scholarship is for students entering a water resources field. It appears that other majors may be considered. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for applying is Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
- ACACIA Leadership Scholarship - This scholarship is available to students who plan to attend Iowa State University. Scholarship applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
- JO-DE-RA-CAVALIERS Scholarship - Applicants must be a member of Job's Daughters, Rainbow Girls or DeMolay. There is no application form, but there is certain information that applicants must submit. The information that must be submitted may be obtained in the guidance office. The deadline for submitting the required information is Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
- CHS Foundation High School Scholarship Program - Applicants must be a graduating high school senior and planning on pursuing a career in an agricultural-related degree from a two or four year college. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
- College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources Extension Recruitment Scholarship - This scholarship is available for high school juniors and seniors who have an ACT of 26 or above or are a transfer student with a GPA of 3.4 from a two-year college or 3.6 GPA from a four-year college. Students must major in the College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline for applying is Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
- Virginia & Tom Pierce Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is looking for students with disabilities who are graduating from high school and planning to attend a college or university. - Nebraskans for Peace - This scholarship will be awarded to seniors who wish to pursue a college education in an area consistent with the mission of Nebraskans for Peace: peace with justice through community building, education and political action. - (CASNR) Conservation Scholarship - Individuals with an interest in the Rural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are encouraged to complete this scholarship application. Specific career field interest includes: Soil Conservationist, Soil Science, Rangeland Management Specialist, and Civil/Agricultural Engineer. Applications are available in the guidance office. - KTIC 107.9 The Bull's Russ Herman Memorial Scholarship - Each school whose community has joined 107.9 The Bull's Sports Booster program is able to award one male and one female scholarship. Each school selects their winners. The winners should demonstrate athletic, academic achievements, leadership and a positive attitude. At Howells all seniors are given an application and the athletic coaches review the applicants and vote for one male and one female. The individuals with the most votes receives the scholarships. Applications are given to all students and are available in the guidance office. The deadline for returning the applications is Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
- Carriage House Foundation - This scholarship is for individuals interested in attending one of Nebraska's Community Colleges to study in an automotive related field. Applications are available in the guidance office and are due by Friday, April 3, 2009.
- Association of Information Technology Professionals - Applicants must be attending college in the Omaha, Eastern Nebraska or Western Iowa region. They must be entering the information technology related fields. Applications are available online at www.aitpomaha.org and are due by Saturday, April 4, 2009.
- Central Community College's Summer Scholarships - This schholarship is available for current junior or senior students interested in taking a summer course at CCC. The application for this scholarship will be available on CCC's website beginning Monday, March 9, 2009 and the deadline for applying is Friday, April 10, 2009.

- Eastern Nebraska/Western Iowa Car Council's Paul High Memorial - This scholarship is open to anyone who is planning on enrolling or is currently enrolled in an automotive technology program at an accredited trade school, community college, college or university. First consideration will be given toward an applicant who may have ties to an organized car club that is a member of ENWICC. Applications are available in the guidance office. - James M. Cox Foundation - Applicants must be 2009 high school graduates with an academic record that inidicates he/she will be successful in the field of higher education he/she has chosen. This scholarship will be awarded on the basis of need, and therefore, it is requested that a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) be completed. (Make sure the FAFSA obtained is for the 2009-2010 year.) Also requested is a printed College Funding Estimator and Results for each college choice from EducationQuest website www.educationquest.org Additional factors will be parent's Adjusted Gross Income, number of dependents on the tax return, and the total number of dependents who will be attending an institution of higher education in 2009-2010. - Cuming County Feeders Association - For Cuming County students attending high schools outside of Cuming County the Association is offering two scholarships. - Alegent Health Diversity Health Care Scholarship - Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or current student in an accredited college university. Recipients must submit verification of enrollment into an accredited college/university and declare health care major before the award will be released.
