FFA Members Honored at Banquet

On April 23rd the Howells-Clarkson FFA Chapter, along with the Howells-Clarkson FCCLA Chapter, hosted their annual banquet. The local proficiencies were awarded to many members recognizing them for their SAE’s . Jacob Vogel received the Star Greenhand Award for his outstanding participation as a first-year-member. Trent Mastny and Amber Burenheide received this year’s Workhorse Award for their hard work and leadership shown throughout their 4th year. Mrs. Traci Sindelar received the Honorary Chapter Degree for all of her hard work and help she gave to all the members who were writing speeches.
Senior members were also awarded with a plaque from Mr. Jordan Brabec listing all of their highest accomplishments achieved during FFA.
The 2012-2013 officers were also announced. The new officers are as follows: Haley Kampschnieder- President, Cody Koehn- Vice President, Paige Indra- Secretary, Garret Ruskamp- Treasurer, Emily Brichacek- Reporter, Casey Smith- Parliamentarian, and Kristin Jindra- Sentinel. The evening was brought to an end with the senior officer retirements as they gave tributes to their parents.
