Boys Win Class D District Track Meet

Congratulations to the Howells Boys Track Team winner of the Class D #2 District Track Meet held at Wisner!

The follow track athletes qualified for the 2012 State Track Meet @ Omaha Burke on Friday, May 18th and Saturday, May 19th. On Friday Class D begins at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, the meet begins at 9:30 A.M.

Girls State Track Meet qualifier is:

KC Heimann - 100 Meter High Hurdles, 300 Low Hurdles and Triple Jump

Boys State Track Meet qualifiers are:

Brian Bayer - 100 M. Dash and 400 Meter Relay

Mitch Belina - 110 High Hurdles, 300 Int. Hurdles, 400 Meter Relay and 1600 Meter Relay

Jordan Brichacek - Shot Put

Trent Mastny - Discus, 400 Meter Relay and 1600 Meter Relay

Nathan Bazata - Shot Put

Brady Brester - 400 Meter Dash, 400 Meter Relay and 1600 Meter Relay

Luke Hegemann - 1600 Meter Relay

Jesse Faltys - Long Jump

Check Nebraska Schools Activities Association's website for times. Howells athletes will compete in the first session on Friday beginning at 9:00 A.M. Saturday the State Track Meet begins at 9:30 A.M.
